Can the Emotiva RMC-1L run 5.1.4?
As a processor it powers none of the 9 speakers 5.1.4 uses: connect power amplifiers to its pre-outs for all of them.
What 5.1.4 takes
- 5 floor speakers: front left and right, a center and two surrounds
- 4 height speakers: in the ceiling, or up-firing modules on the front and rear speakers
- A subwoofer
- A 9-channel power amplifier for every speaker
Emotiva RMC-1L has pre-outs for front, center, surround, rear surround, front wide and height, and 1 subwoofer output.
