Can the Marantz AV 10 run 7.1.4?
As a processor it powers none of the 11 speakers 7.1.4 uses: connect power amplifiers to its pre-outs for all of them.
What 7.1.4 takes
- 7 floor speakers: front left and right, a center, two surrounds and two rear surrounds
- 4 height speakers: in the ceiling, or up-firing modules on the front and rear speakers
- A subwoofer
- A 11-channel power amplifier for every speaker
Marantz AV 10 has pre-outs for front, center, surround, rear surround, front wide and height, and 4 subwoofer outputs.
